چکیده
Abstract In this work, we describe a new species of genus Bufo , exiguus sp. nov. from Mt. Nankun, Guangdong Province, China. This can be distinguished all congeners by significant divergences in the mitochondrial 16S rRNA and CO1 genes combination morphological characters: small body size, tympanum absent, parotoid glands olive-shaped, tarsal fold dorsal with fine vertebral line white nuptial spinules present on inner surfaces fingers I II males. At present, is only known slow-flowing montane streams its type locality conservation status should carefully addressed.

Two new Rhabdias species are described from the lungs of the cane toad Bufo marinus (L.) from Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Rhabdias alabialis n. sp. differs from other known species of the genus by the remarkable morphology of its head end, i.e., the absence of lips or pseudolabia, the slitlike oral opening, and the triangular shape of the buccal capsule in apical view. Rhabdias pseudosphaerocepha...
متن کاملA new species of toad (Bufonidae: Incilius) from central Panama
We describe Incilius karenlipsae sp. nov., a new species of toad known from a single locality in the Cordillera de Talamanca of central Panama. We describe this species based on a single individual of perhaps what is now an extinct species. We present mitochondrial sequence data from cyt b (675 base-pairs, bp) and 16S (566 bp) to infer its phylogenetic placement among other bufonids. The new sp...
